Swing Dance Club Hawaii was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1995. We have club bylaws, club officers (4) and a board of directors (8). We offer a very low cost membership that gives you discounts to all our dances and events. We average around 80-90 members.
Our mission statements is: To inform, encourage, promote, and enjoy Swing Dancing of all forms. To recognize other forms of dance, including Hustle, Latin, Lindy, Shag, Night Club, etc. The promotion of dance entertainment, fellowship, and interests of the general membership.
Board of Directors: Roland and Susan Reaver, Bill and Lile' Hanson, Carolyn Noah, Rusty Chun, Joe Gerarden, Carol Collette, Frank and Rita Pierce, Harriet Kirihara (not pictured) and Henry Lee (not pictured).
We have a regular once-a-month dance on the last Sunday at the Ala Wai Palladium in Honolulu. We also meet around town at various venues for a night out. See the Dance Schedule & Events page for more info on where we dance.
